Become a Technical Purchaser at Getinge Applikon 

Do you have technical experience and enjoy working in a purchasing department? Read on to find out if this position is right for you!

As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for both the administrative support and monitoring of the purchase of standard and non-standard items. You maintain close contact with purchasing relationships and suppliers to request quotes for the required materials or services. Additionally, you manage the portfolio regarding price, delivery conditions, quality, and packaging. You ensure that the necessary materials are delivered on time by making agreements with suppliers and independently placing orders in the system.

What will you do?
 

• Set up and order purchase and make parts.
• Compile and manage order files.
• Follow up, check, and process order confirmations.
• Provide purchasing data to project teams.
• Remind and claim from suppliers.
• Handle quality issues.
• Participate in evaluation meetings for projects.
• Provide up-to-date prices and delivery times in the ERP system.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities
 

• MBO+ education with a technical background.
• NEVI I is a plus.
• Service-oriented attitude towards internal customers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good command of Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Flexible and proactive work attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Administratively accurate.
