Job Purpose:

 

At Getinge, we’re committed to improving patient outcomes and saving lives through advanced medical technologies. We’re looking for a Clinical Account Manager to join our Acute Care Therapies team, supporting our Intensive Care portfolio, including ventilation and advanced monitoring solutions. This is a field-based, customer-facing role where you’ll combine clinical expertise and commercial acumen to drive growth across your territory; building strong relationships with clinicians and key stakeholders to deliver meaningful impact in critical care environments.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Driving revenue growth and market expansion within your territory through effective account planning
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clinicians and key influencers
  • Delivering clinical training, education and product support (including trials and evaluations) in line with instructions for use
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
  • Supporting clinical study days, training events and the Derby Centre of Excellence
  • Providing insights and updates to the National Sales Manager to inform strategy
  • Managing customer engagement and training materials using tools such as Showpad
  • Supporting tendering, regulatory and marketing activities where required
  • Ensuring safe and effective product use across all customer interactions

 

What we’re looking for


We’re interested in candidates with strong clinical or commercial experience in a critical care environment, such as:

  • Clinical Account Manager
  • Critical Care Nurse
  • Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
  • Cardiac Technician

 

Essential experience & skills

 

  • Strong clinical or technical knowledge within critical care settings
  • Ability to deliver training, education and presentations confidently
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools
  • Proactive mindset with a track record of identifying and developing opportunities

 

Desirable

 

  • Experience in the medical device / healthcare commercial environment
  • Understanding of NHS procurement and tender processes
  • Established network of clinical stakeholders within your territory
