Job Title: International Product Manager – Consumables
Location: Global role | Remote any home-based location considered (Detroit considered HQ). International travel is expected for this role irrespective of where you are based.
At Getinge, we are driven by a simple but powerful purpose: to make life‑saving technology accessible for more people. Every day, our teams work at the intersection of innovation, healthcare, and impact helping hospitals deliver safer, more efficient patient care across the world.
We are now looking for an International Product Manager – Consumables to play a key role in shaping the future of our CSSD/SPD consumables portfolio across global markets.
Your impact
This is a high‑visibility, commercially focused role with true international reach. You will own the end‑to‑end success of our consumable’s portfolio outside the US, from strategy and lifecycle planning through to global launches and sales enablement.
Acting as the bridge between R&D, Commercial Operations, and Global Sales, you will translate scientific innovation into compelling value propositions that resonate with customers, distributors, and healthcare professionals worldwide.
Working closely with the Head of Product Management USA, you will ensure strong global alignment while adapting products and launches to meet international regulatory, clinical, and market needs.
What you will do
In this role, you will:
-
Define and drive global portfolio strategy, shaping product roadmaps and lifecycle plans that support sustainable growth and profitability
-
Partner with Commercial Operations to optimise pricing strategies, forecasting, and supply considerations for chemical consumables
-
Lead international product launches, working with regional teams to ensure launch excellence, follow‑up, and performance tracking
-
Enable Global Sales Teams and distributors with clear “reason‑to‑buy” messaging, training, and technical expertise
-
Act as a trusted expert in high‑value hospital tenders, supporting complex technical discussions and objection handling
-
Gather and translate market intelligence into actionable insights that influence product development and value propositions
-
Collaborate cross‑functionally across R&D, Quality & Regulatory, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to bring products to market successfully
Who you are
You combine commercial acumen with scientific understanding and are comfortable operating in a global, matrix organisation. You enjoy working across functions, cultures, and time zones, and you are motivated by the opportunity to shape and evolve how things are done.
You bring a proactive, forward-looking mindset and are energised by working in environments that are dynamic and evolving. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking ownership, and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes for customers and the business.
You are naturally curious, open to new perspectives, and confident translating complex challenges into clear, practical solutions that create value across markets.
You likely bring:
-
Experience in product management within healthcare chemistry, infection prevention, or medical consumables
-
Exposure to CSSD/SPD environments and an understanding of hospital workflows
-
The ability to communicate confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders from R&D teams to Sales Directors and distributors
-
A pragmatic, operational mindset with experience in pricing, SKU management, and margin optimisation
-
A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field preferred (MBA or equivalent commercial experience is an advantage)
What we offer
This role will align to local country compensation and benefits packages. Outside of the tangible package this position will offer you:
-
A truly international role with global visibility
-
The opportunity to shape strategy and influence innovation at scale
-
A collaborative, purpose‑driven culture built on passion, collaboration, and openness
We have a commitment to sustainability and therefore we travel only when necessary and have a strong push towards reduced CO₂ impact across our operations.
