Job Title: Service Contracts Sales Manager

Location: South East, UK - Field Based

 

Getinge are seeking a Service Contracts Sales Manager to champion and drive forward the growth of the business within the South East UK territory. The successful individual will be responsible for the promotion and execution of the Healthcare Getinge UKI Service Strategy, spanning Acute Care Therapies, Surgical Workplaces and Infection Control, to grow Service revenue and profitability.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Proactively engage with customers to build understanding of the service value proposition

  • Regularly meet with clinical and procurement managers, ensuring comprehensive stakeholder mapping with key decision makers to demonstrate value

  • Prepare and deliver evidence of service delivery, including performance against key metrics to highlight, differentiate and explain the important of service
  • Establish direct sales of the entire Getinge Care Service Contract portfolio

  • Utilise relevant selling techniques to progress contract opportunities
  • Execute commercial strategies and campaigns to increase market share for Getinge Service
  • Forecast source of business to increase uptake i.e. Contract Renewals, Expiring Warranties
  • Meet revenue targets and establish strategies to maximize opportunities
  • Working alongside Capital Sales Managers, align strategies of customer accounts
  • Working with Service Contracts Administration, produce quotations/tenders and pricing agreements within given timescales. Responsible for timely completion of administrative tasks and projects.
  • Working with Regional Service Managers, produce evidence driven materials for customers to demonstrate value of service
  • Build, maintain and lead excellent customer relationships to enable customer centric service delivery and revenue growth

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both over the telephone and face to face
  • Experience to date in a medical/healthcare sales and/or service contracts sales experience
  • Ability to problem solve and seek solutions logically in challenging situations
  • Ability to plan, organise and manage time effectively to meet challenging deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to build long term relationships
  • Preferred understanding of the medical sector (NHS & Private) in the United Kingdom
  • Demonstrate a motivated and passionate approach to work, taking ownership of tasks
  • Excellent understanding of the NHS procurement processes and tendering is highly desired
  • Strong Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • People Centric and confident in building strong and lasting professional relationships
