-
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using a structured, logical approach
-
Support upgrade campaigns and take part in project integrations from planning through completion
-
Deliver on‑site equipment training and routine maintenance training for customers when required
-
Provide detailed technical reports for specific product or customer‑related issues
-
Contribute to troubleshooting guides, technical improvements, and upgrade initiatives

-
Manage vehicle spares, stock control, NCRs, and tool calibration in line with KPIs
-
Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in full compliance with Getinge QMS and customer H&S standards
You’ll also work closely with Service Coordinators to ensure responsive customer coverage and consistently high service standards.
About you
You’re a practical, self‑motivated engineer who enjoys autonomy but values being part of a strong regional and UKI service team.
You’ll bring:
-
A City & Guilds Level 1 & 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
-
Experience in a maintenance or service engineering environment, ideally within medical, pharmaceutical, or process industries
-
Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
-

-
The ability to manage a changing workload and prioritise effectively
-
Good IT skills, including Microsoft tools and service platforms such as Salesforce
Desirable (but not essential):
-
CSCS (Service & Facilities / HVACR) Skills Card
-

-
Experience with Life Sciences, Bioprocessing, or Sterilisation equipment
Travel & flexibility
