Become our new Logistics Service Coordinator (Temporary – 1 year)

 

As a Logistics Service Coordinator, you play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient outbound order fulfilment from our European Distribution Centre (EDC) in Eindhoven. Acting as a central point of contact between Sales & Service Units (SSUs) and the logistics network, you contribute directly to high service levels and operational excellence.

 

Your challenge:

In this role, you will coordinate complex logistics processes in an international, high-volume environment. You ensure that orders are processed, monitored, and delivered efficiently, while managing stakeholder expectations and resolving operational challenges. By connecting internal teams and external partners, you help guarantee a reliable and effective supply chain.

 

What will you do?

  • Coordinate outbound order fulfilment activities from the EDC.
  • Act as the primary contact for Sales & Service Units on order-related topics.
  • Monitor order flows, backlog, and inventory to ensure service continuity.
  • Manage and resolve operational issues related to warehousing, orders, and transportation.
  • Drive resolution of disruptions and escalations across internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Analyze KPIs and initiate improvements based on root cause analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate data in SAP and ensure proper order management processes.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Planning, Transport, Quality, Finance, IT and 3PL partners.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Supply Chain) or equivalent through experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain
  • Experience with SAP and strong data processing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar tools
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Customer- and service-oriented mindset
  • Proactive, structured, and able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
