About this opportunity  

We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team in Finland. In this field-based role, you will be the primary representative for our infection control products, including washer-disinfectors, sterilizers, and other equipment used in the reprocessing of medical instruments.

Our service department supports the Finnish market with the installation of our equipment, maintenance, spare parts, training, technical support, as well as on-site commissioning and validation. With a dedicated team of service technicians across the country, we ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality service to our customers.

What you will do

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service and support for our clients in the field of infection control.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Acting as the primary representative for our clients in infection control, managing and servicing equipment such as washer-disinfectors, sterilizers, and other reprocessing units used for cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining technically advanced systems critical to the infection prevention process—requiring independence, accuracy, and a high sense of responsibility
• Carrying out key administrative tasks, including detailed documentation and follow-up of services performed
• Regularly interacting with customers, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential

You will be based from a home office in the Lahti, Helsinki, or Kouvola area. Your primary work area will cover southern Finland, from Helsinki to Kotka. A company van will be provided, and the role includes approximately 50 hotel nights per year. Your workday begins when you leave home and ends when you return.

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:

• Documented education in Electrical, Control Technology, or Automation
• Stress-resistant with a strong customer-focused mindset
• Proficient in Finnish and English (spoken and written); Swedish is a bonus
• Valid driving license
• Good computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
• Previous experience in similar roles and within the industry is a plus
