Proformance Production Room Technician (Fraser, MI)

Job Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to assemble and package Swab and Brush Kits in various sizes in a protein controlled environment. 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

• Tear and label kit tubing/bags to keep up with volume.
• Visually inspect and clean incoming brushes for conformity to Healthmark quality expectations.
• Cutting tubes to appropriate lengths using the tube cutter.
• Assemble swabs and brushes of various sizes with the appropriate length tubing per the work instructions.
• Produce and treat Swab tips.
• Complete packaging of all the various swab and brush kits manufactured in the Proformance Production Room per the work instructions.
• Accurately complete tub labels for finished items with the required information for traceability.
• Visually inspect all products throughout the assembly process for defects.
• Follow non-conforming product process when defects are found.
• Keep rooms clean order daily.
• Fill out logs for the room properly using good documentation practices.
• Follow all applicable procedures, work instructions and policies.
• Follow all clothing/attire requirements.
• All other duties as deemed necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good Organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Basic math skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Employees must be able to perform all tasks listed.
• Tasks must be completed in an efficient and time-sensitive manner.
• Great Plains Dynamics a plus but not required.
• Equipment used: Heat Sealer, Heat Gun, Glue Machine, Tube Cutter, Computer.

Minimum Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures.
• Skill and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions: 

• Able to lift 10 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to bend, stoop and lift overhead.
• Able to sit for long periods of time.
• Able to perform repetitive duties.

The compensation range for this position is between $18-$19 per hour depending on experience and location.
