Role overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Advisor to join our Hospital Engineering team, working on customer design projects for sterile processing departments (CSSD) and operating rooms (OR), demand calculation, and workflow consultancy. The role is based primarily in Sweden, with hiring also possible in Germany or other Getinge sites. You'll work closely with Getinge management, customers, R&D, business partners and suppliers across projects spanning hospital workflow planning, automation and customized products.
We're growing our Hospital Engineering team's planning and demand-calculation support, together with tool development, to keep delivering high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer design projects for sterile processing departments (CSSD) and operating rooms (OR), including factory-scope automation projects
- Analyze customer workflows and requirements, and develop functional department layouts
- Propose and simulate automation-supported workflow improvements
- Support large-scale projects across Getinge's business units, including automation and customized products
- Present concepts and proposals to customers
- Create CAD drawings and presentation material using Autodesk Revit
- Document projects and share knowledge across the organization
To help meet our goal of becoming CO2 neutral, we travel only if we must. In this role, you can expect to travel around 5–25%, depending on your hiring location, to visit customers, other Getinge sites, and to support the sales process domestically and internationally as needed.
What you bring
For this role, we're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in hospital planning, process consulting, or factory planning (around two years' experience in CAD design within architecture, construction, or hospital infrastructure planning)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent long-term experience in mechanical engineering, architecture, construction or relevant clinical experience
- Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit; experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus
- Basic experience in project management and workflow/value-chain analysis
- Strong presentation skills and proficiency, advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Workflow simulation and/or programming skills considered a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Swedish or German is an asset
- Shows initiative, motivated, open-minded, reliable and resilient
Beyond technical skills, we value your personality highly. We believe you're structured and detail-oriented, yet open to different ideas and input from your colleagues. You're engaged and driven in your work, and you enjoy collaborating with our other technical groups and functions. You're comfortable communicating with different stakeholders across an organization and collaborating both within and outside your team.
