About this Opportunity
In this role, you will be part of Getinge’s cybersecurity function, with a strong focus on anticipating, assessing, and responding to current and emerging cyber threats. You will work with the design, governance, and continuous improvement of technical security controls, ensuring that Getinge’s cybersecurity posture evolves in line with the threat landscape and business needs.

You will collaborate closely with IT teams and business stakeholders in a complex, global, and highly regulated environment, supporting secure, resilient, and compliant adoption of technologies across the organization.
What you will do
In this role, you will act as a technical authority and trusted advisor, driving cybersecurity improvements by translating threats, risks, and regulatory expectations into practical and effective security controls.

Analyze current and emerging cyber threats and assess their impact on Getinge’s technical environment

Define, maintain, and continuously evolve cybersecurity architecture principles, standards, and secure design patterns aligned to the threat landscape

Perform security design reviews and support the secure onboarding of new systems, platforms, and technologies

Assess and validate the effectiveness and maturity of technical security controls, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities

Provide input and evidence for audits, regulatory compliance, and third‑party risk assessments related to technical cybersecurity controls

Support the organization in moving from baseline security to continuously improving cybersecurity maturity
This position is placed in Sweden and can be performed in a flexible hybrid setup, with the possibility to work mostly remotely while maintaining regular collaboration with colleagues on site when required. Proximity to a Getinge site is considered an advantage.

Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Strong background in cybersecurity engineering or security architecture

Ability to translate technical cyber threats and risks into clear, actionable, and prioritized security requirements

Experience collaborating closely with IT engineering and architecture teams

Understanding of regulatory and compliance expectations related to technical security controls and control assurance
