To support our global teams, we are continuing to strengthen and evolve our Travel & Expense capabilities and are now seeking a Global Travel Manager to help deliver a consistent, efficient, and people-centric travel experience across 35 countries.
In this role, you will own and oversee the global travel program, working across a complex ecosystem of policies, systems, processes, and partners. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate global direction into effective, scalable ways of working that support productivity, responsible travel, and a positive experience for our travelers.
The Global Travel Manager reports to the Global Director, Travel & Meetings, within the Sustainability, Legal & Compliance organization. You will work in close collaboration with the Global Director, Travel & Meetings to translate global priorities into effective, scalable travel operations.
What you will do
- Own and oversee the global travel program within an integrated Travel & Expense (T&E) landscape, ensuring alignment between the global T&E Directive, local guidelines, and supporting systems and ways of working, with a focus on responsible and sustainable travel, compliance, clarity, and practical usability in a complex, global environment.
- Drive continuous improvement across the travel ecosystem, taking a forward-thinking approach to automation, data, and new technologies to deliver an efficient and reliable travel experience that supports productivity and cost efficiency.
- Partner closely with local HR and Finance teams to drive implementation and adoption of global tools and ways of working, ensure consistency, and manage escalations when needed, with the traveler perspective in focus.
- Set direction for the global travel systems and integrations, in partnership with IT and vendors, ensuring systems effectively support defined processes and user needs.
- Contribute to supplier management and sourcing initiatives, supporting global vendor rollouts and a consistent, dependable travel experience across markets.
- Provide operational input into T&E Directive, strategy, and change initiatives, ensuring effective global implementation and adoption in day-to-day operations.
This is a remote-based position, preferably located near one of our sites in Malmo, Gothenburg, Getinge, or Stockholm.
You will bring
To be successful in this position, we believe you bring the following qualifications:
- Senior-level experience in corporate travel and/or Travel & Expense (T&E) within complex, multinational environments.
- A proven track record of leading and evolving global travel ecosystems, building best-in-class travel programs through collaboration, innovation, and digital development.
- A strong program ownership mindset, with the ability to set direction and lead through influence in a global, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated end-to-end leadership capability, establishing clear structures, decision rights, and scalable ways of working across countries.
- Experience shaping global travel technology and operating models, balancing business priorities, scalability, integration, and user experience.
- Ability to translate global travel trends and market insights into practical, value-driven improvements to the travel program.
