About the role
We are looking for a Senior Manager – PMO & Strategy to lead high‑impact strategic and transformation initiatives within Quality, Regulatory & Compliance (QRC) in our Surgical Workflows business area at Getinge.
This role is well suited for candidates with a background in management consulting, internal strategy, or transformation roles who are motivated to take hands‑on ownership and drive execution in a complex, regulated environment. You will work closely with senior leaders, tackling ambiguous challenges and translating strategy into measurable outcomes.
What you will do
You will operate as a trusted problem‑solver and execution lead, driving a portfolio of strategic initiatives across QRC.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading high‑priority strategy and transformation initiatives across QRC within Surgical Workflows
- Structuring complex, ambiguous problems into clear strategies, decision frameworks, and execution roadmaps
- Owning PMO governance for cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring disciplined delivery against milestones, KPIs, and outcomes
- Partnering closely with senior stakeholders across QRC, R&D, Operations, IT, and the business
- Driving AI‑enabled optimization of QMS, SOP/SSOP structures, and documentation to improve scalability and compliance by design
The role is remote/hybrid within Europe (ideally close to one of our major sites) and includes international travel of approximately 25%, depending on project needs.
You will bring
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- ~5 years of experience in strategy, transformation, PMO, consulting, or similar high‑impact roles
- A strong track record of leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives in structured, high‑expectation environments
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a comparable analytical field
- Excellent problem‑structuring, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- A strong execution mindset, moving from insight to impact
- Interest and capability in AI‑enabled process and system optimization
Experience from medical devices or other regulated industries is an advantage, but not required. Structured onboarding and training will be provided.
You are comfortable operating with senior stakeholders, thrive in ambiguity, and promote clarity, simplification, and fact‑based decision‑making.
Why join Getinge
At Getinge, you will combine strategy, execution, and innovation in a highly regulated MedTech environment with real societal impact. This role offers:
- High visibility and close collaboration with senior leadership
- A unique platform to build deep expertise in QRC while retaining a strategic scope
- Strong development opportunities within a global MedTech organization
