Join our diverse teams of passionate people and a career that allows you to develop both personally and professionally. At Getinge we exist to make life-saving technology accessible for more people. To make a true difference for our customers – and to save more lives, we need team players, forward thinkers, and game changers.

Are you looking for an inspiring career? You just found it.

Getinge is a decentralized organization, which means that ensuring alignment between business areas, central functions, and regions in their sustainability work is essential for success. This requires strong project infrastructure — including clear plans, timelines, dashboards, documentation, and accessible data — to support effective collaboration and execution.

We are therefore recruiting a Sustainability Project Coordinator (m/f/d).

As part of the Corporate Sustainability team, the Sustainability Project Coordinator ensures that deadlines, deliverables, and responsibilities are clearly defined, that information flows smoothly between departments, and that required data is accessible and transparent. The role also includes coordinating stakeholder requests such as customer RFQs, CDP, and EcoVadis.

The position is eligible for remote or hybrid work and can be based at any of Getinge’s major sites in Europe, preferably in Gothenburg, Solna, Malmö, or Copenhagen.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Execution:

  • Coordinate global sustainability projects across sustainability focus areas, ensuring clear structure, timelines, and follow-up
  • Manage project documentation, including plans, trackers, dashboards, meeting minutes, and action logs
  • Monitor progress on sustainability initiatives and support preparation of status updates, management presentations, and decision material
  • Contribute to building tools, templates, and processes that strengthen sustainability governance and project execution

Sustainability Team Support:

  • Support regulatory compliance projects in close cooperation with the Senior Environmental Compliance Manager
  • Assist in managing data and information for stakeholder sustainability inquiries
  • Provide general team support to increase the Corporate Sustainability function’s capacity for compliance, reporting, and customer-facing requests

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience coordinating crossfunctional sustainability or ESG projects in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple initiatives
  • High proficiency in Excel and data analysis, including managing and validating data from multiple sources
  • Solid understanding of environmental and social sustainability topics; CDP/EcoVadis experience is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders in a dynamic corporate environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce clear, actionable materials
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple deadlines and information streams
  • Analytical, solutionoriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and building effective tools and processes
  • Ability to use AI tools to enhance productivity, with existing prompting skills or motivation to develop them
  • Strong presentation, documentation, and projecttracking capabilities

Personal Qualities:

At Getinge, we are team players, forward thinkers, and game changers. For this role, we believe you are:

  • A strong communicator and networker, able to engage stakeholders across global teams and prepare clear, actionable materials
  • Committed to ethical and socially responsible business practices
  • A self-starter and proactive collaborator who seeks input and works closely with internal stakeholders to drive practical implementation of environmental regulation
  • Solution-oriented, taking action to solve problems while knowing when and to whom to escalate issues
  • Dedicated to delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely results, with strong follow-through on agreed objectives
