About this opportunity

Getinge is an international company with a global service and sales organization. Within the Business Area - Life Science, Getinge develops and sell a wide range of Sterilizers for lab, research, and pharmaceutical production applications. Sterilization by steam is the most common method and these sterilizers require a lot of energy to heat. To produce steam implies a high consumption of cooling water/energy, which consequently has a direct impact on the environment. With increasing environmental requirements this utility consumption, including cooling, needs to be visible and optimized (minimized).

What you will do

We are looking for 1-2, Master Thesis students that can develop software for semi-automatic diagnostic testing of autoclaves to ensure these are built according to specification. The goal is to reduce the time needed for testing of each individual machine and allow testing of multiple machines simultaneously.

The goal is to develop a program that is running on the autoclaves and displayed on the HMI. The focus of the work is on a new standardized autoclave.

You will bring

To be eligible for this thesis project we believe that you are a Master student in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
