Are you looking for an inspiring career? You just found it.

About this opportunity

Getinge is an international company with a global service and sales organization. Within the Business Area - Life Science, Getinge develops and sell a wide range of Sterilizers for lab, research, and pharmaceutical production applications.

Sterilization by steam is the most common method and these sterilizers require a lot of energy to heat. To produce steam implies a high consumption of cooling water/energy, which consequently has a direct impact on the environment.

Getinge has high focus on sustainability and sees a stronger market demand on reducing the environmental footprint for our sterilizers.

What you will do

We are looking for 1-2, Master Thesis students that will investigate and develop a conceptual design of a sterilizer with minimum environmental footprint. We wish for you to define the top 5 changes we can make to the product. The report should include effect and realization possibilities.

The goal is to use the result as input to a future new product development project.

About you

To be eligible for this thesis project we believe that you are a Master student in Mechanical or Environmental engineering.
