  • You perform installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Life Science equipment.

  • You plan your work independently in coordination with the Service department.

  • You prepare service reports for internal and external use.

  • You identify technical issues or bottlenecks on site and report them to the responsible contact person.

  • You ensure compliance with all applicable safety requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of Life Science equipment at customer sites.

  • Diagnosing and resolving technical faults independently.

  • Providing technical support to customers and colleagues and sharing your knowledge.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement and supporting the broader Service department.

  • Professionally representing Getinge and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What We Expect from You

  • Completed vocational education in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience as a Field Service Engineer.

  • At least three years of relevant experience in a similar field service role.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Knowledge of PLC control systems is an advantage.

  • Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical sector is a plus.

  • Valid category B driver’s license.

  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

What This Role Offers You

  • A high level of independence and responsibility.

  • Collaboration within a dedicated and supportive service team.

  • Competitive employment conditions within an international organization.
