Become our new QA Engineer Logistics (Temporary – 1 year)

 

As a QA Engineer Logistics EMEA, you play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our logistics and distribution processes across the EMEA region. You help maintain a robust Quality Management System and support the continuous improvement of quality processes within our European Distribution Center in Eindhoven.

 

With your analytical mindset, eye for detail, and collaborative approach, you contribute to delivering life-saving medical technologies to our customers while ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain.

 

Your challenge: 

 

In this role, you will act as a trusted quality partner for logistics operations and stakeholders across the distribution network. By combining quality expertise with a practical and hands-on approach, you will support compliance, drive continuous improvement, and help optimize product flows throughout the distribution chain.

You will work closely with Logistics, Quality, Supply Chain, Business Areas, and external logistics partners to ensure that quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations are consistently met.

 

What will you do? 

 

  • Support quality-related activities within Logistics Operations across the EMEA Distribution Center
  • Ensure effective management of non-conformances, including inbound, process, premises/equipment, and outbound logistics issues
  • Support complaint investigations and ensure timely documentation, root cause analysis, and closure
  • Review, approve, and maintain quality records and environmental monitoring data
  • Support the Quality Hold process and ensure effective communication and execution with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and associated documentation
  • Identify improvement opportunities, implement corrective and preventive actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyze quality KPIs, identify trends and recurring issues, and drive actions to improve performance
  • Act as a quality partner for warehouse, logistics, and distribution stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure compliance with quality requirements
  • Provide backup support within the Logistics Quality team when required

 

Knowledge, skills and experience  

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 1 year of experience within Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries is preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and quality processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
