Role Overview

 

The Business Process Manager – Service Back-office will serve as the primary point of contact for the business ensuring alignment of global service back-office processes with strategic initiatives, including the S4Future program.  This role will analyze current processes, identify opportunities for harmonization and automation, and help drive scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency.  This role requires deep expertise in the end-to-end processes, data flows and system integrations for Service.

 

This role will help define process standards, drive global harmonization, and ensure that technology solutions – including S4Hana, AI-enabled automation but also linked to FSM / Oxando – support efficient and effective business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the business for Service process topics
  • Serve as the main interface between the business and the S4Future program, ensuring requirements and priorities are clearly communicated and aligned
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Sales & Service Transformation team, IT and key stakeholders to support harmonization initiatives and drive adoption of new processes
  • Gather process data from multiple sources, analyze and provide input on harmonized models.  Ensure alignment of business processes with S4Hana capabilities and best practices
  • Identify opportunities where AI, automation and FSM / Oxando can streamline processes, reduce manual effort and improve data quality
  • Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing with key business users as harmonized processes and system changes are implemented
  • Coordinate training programs for key users and stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of new processes and system capabilities
  • Support change management initiatives and provide process documentation and guidance
  • Assist in defining, implementing and tracking key performance indicators to measure process efficiency, quality and business impact

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations, process management, or ERP transformation programs
  • Experience with SAP strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end business process mapping and optimization
  • Experience coordinating UAT, training and cross functional stakeholder engagement
  • Strong analytical, communication and change management skills
