Business Partner Risk Management Specialist (contract for 9 months)

The Business Partner Risk Management Specialist is responsible for conducting third-party due diligence and screening activities in line with compliance requirements. The role involves assessing third-party risk, preparing due diligence reports, responding to stakeholder queries, maintaining process documentation, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence reviews, including ownership and management analysis, sanctions screening, adverse media checks, PEP identification, and assessment of public sector links.
• Prepare due diligence reports and maintain process documentation.
• Respond to internal and external queries related to third-party due diligence.
• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of assigned tasks.
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Adhere to company policies and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AML/KYC or third-party due diligence.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with screening tools (e.g., World-Check, LexisNexis).
• Very good command of English. Japanese would be a strong asset (nice to have).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Compliance experience preferred.
• Experience in a global organization, knowledge of Dow Jones, SAP, AI tools (e.g., Copilot), and additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, etc.) would be an advantage.
