Job Summary:

The People & Culture Manager SSC oversees a vast portfolio of people‑centric processes within a mature Shared Services Center, including talent attraction and retention, HR business partnering, and advisory support to the Extended Management Team on HR processes, Polish labor law, Organizational Health & Safety, and GDPR. The role contributes to both strategic and tactical planning, ensuring that people solutions are business‑effective, compliant, and fully embedded within the Polish legal framework while supporting organizational performance and employee experience.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR processes including payroll, personnel administration, recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and people development within the corporate framework with a focus on continuous improvement and process efficiency and digitalization.
  • Monitor, analyze and manage headcount planning and fluctuations; provide insights and recommendations to the business
  • Advise and co-design people centric solutions to day-to-day challenges including talent attraction, talent retention, people development, creating friendly work environment within hybrid work model (measured by Employee Engagement Index), leadership development, recognition programs.
  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner for Extended Management Team; providing guidance on ongoing people related topics and organizational decisions
  • Ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient HR operations, delivering consistent service quality across the organization.
  • Champion and cocreate an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging organizational culture.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of HR policies and procedures necessary to provide a safe workplace and operate within existing and changing legal requirements.
  • Know and share best practices and trends within the HR area.
  • Maintain, enhance and report on HR KPI’s, providing data driven insights to support decision making.
  • Lead and develop a small HR team, fostering motivation, professional growth, a positive team culture, and high service standards.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance HR work while maintaining strong technology fluency, learning agility, and curiosity about continuous process improvement.
  • Balances innovation with responsibility in AIenabled HR practices, clearly articulating opportunities and risks, maintaining a humanfirst approach, and ensuring all final decisions are humanowned, consistent, transparent, and explainable.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required
  • Relevant experience of minimum 5 years in HR Manager or HRBP position, preferably within SSC environment.
  • Good knowledge of labor law, basic knowledge of GDPR regulations.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work within a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose practical and business efficient solutions.
  • Ability to interact and partner effectively with all levels of management.
  • Embraces AI with curiosity, learning agility, and an experimental approach
  • Continuously builds skills and stays current with emerging technologies
  • Leads and supports others through change with confidence
  • Connects AI use to broader business outcomes and HR strategy
