Job Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the execution phases of the low to moderate complexity projects.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Coordinate and manage the activities of cross functional product development teams
- to execute low to moderate complexity projects projects in support of Class I - III medical devices
- Serve as Project Leader and manage cross functional project resources. Ensure the timely release of critical deliverables within the project
- Coordinate and run cross-functional project team meetings, both in-house and with contract resources (as necessary). Directly interact with supporting functional groups (Regulatory, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, and Quality Control) to meet project objectives and keep projects on track.
- Document and manage project plans, timelines and budgets with support of Program Manager/ PM Group Manager as needed.
- Assist in identifying project and timeline risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance in product development, including coordinating design control activities. Ensure all aspects of the project are in compliance to internal procedures
- Generate project status reports and presentations as required.
- Review project progress with senior/executive management.
- Identify and escalate unexpected program delays and support cross-functional team efforts to re-align with established project timelines.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute technically to projects as required.
- Assist in special projects as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience developing medical products
- Minimum of one year experience in project or program management and/or Minimum of 3+ years in task or project lead role
- Agile PLM and Oracle experience preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of medical device industry, FDA regulations, design control and Medical Device Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, ISO 14971)
- Experience leading the development and implementation of projects, with ability to concurrently manage multiple small to mid-sized projects and associated timelines.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience in leading tasks/projects through a structured, phase-gate process
- Ability to work independently, as well as effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization in a team environment.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills; technical writing experience.
- Task oriented and driven to complete assignments on schedule
- Strong experience with MS Office applications is required (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Project).

- Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions

Annual Salary of 100K to 120K with 10% STIP
