Job Overview

The Junior Application Assistant provides administrative, coordination, and operational support to the IT Applications APAC & MEA team across its multiple functions. Within this support is project planning, tracking progress, maintaining project documentation, coordinating meetings, and communicating with stakeholders. In addition, the position collaborates with internal teams on many regional and global projects, process improvements, and system enhancements to support business and IT objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Support project planning and progress tracking for regional and global IT projects, maintaining schedules, task lists, and trackers.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, SOPs, and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate meetings and logistics across time zones and follow up on action items with stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the IT Applications APAC & MEA team.
  • Assist with SAP-related activities, such as supporting system enhancements, preparing test cases, recording test results, and helping maintain SAP process documentation.
  • Support process-improvement initiatives by gathering information, documenting current processes, and flagging improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with basic data entry, data collection, and reporting in support of team projects.
  • Communicate routinely with business stakeholders and internal teams, routing inquiries and supporting clear follow-through.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience in IT applications preferred in a regional or global environment.
  • Exposure to agile ways of working and participating in regional/global projects.
  • Language / Communication: Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to work effectively across multicultural, international teams.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of how different enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and other business applications exchange data and interact within an IT landscape.
  • Ability to analyze requirements, identify issues, and support the development of practical and effective integration solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders, prepare clear documentation, and support users in a structured and professional manner.
