With a passion for life

Join our diverse teams of passionate people and a career that allows you to develop both personally and professionally. At Getinge we exist to make life-saving technology accessible for more people. To make a true difference for our customers – and to save more lives, we need team players, forward thinkers, and game changers.

Are you looking for an inspiring career? You just found it.

About this opportunity

You will join our Nordic sales organization, taking full commercial responsibility for selling and promoting our SW product portfolio to existing and potential customers in your own dedicated district. You will be involved through every phase of the sales process – from initial contact and solution design, to quoting and delivery – and you will be part of a strong local and Nordic sales team, with plenty of opportunity for collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional development.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop sales of our Surgical Workflows product portfolio in Denmark – managing the full sales cycle from initial customer contact and solution design, through quotation, to final delivery.

What you will do

Your day-to-day will include a mix of the following:

  • Driving sales and achieving your sales, margin and order intake targets, and owning the full Pre-Do-Post tender process in your district
  • Performing customer needs analyses, and preparing system designs, specifications, quotations and proposals through solution selling
  • Building long-term relationships with hospitals, regions and other stakeholders, with a focus on new project sales for large accounts
  • Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for your district, and representing SW at customer meetings and exhibitions, both locally and across the Nordics
  • Managing projects from first contact to signed agreement, keeping your CRM (GForce) documentation and pipeline up to date, and acting as the link between customers and our delivery organization

This position is based in Denmark, with travel to customers, hospitals and regions across the district as well as regular collaboration with the Nordic team. Travel and customer-facing activities are expected to account for approximately 80% of your working time.

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications.

  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience from the healthcare sector, with a solid understanding of hospital workflows and organizational complexity
  • Strong experience in solution selling, technical or concept sales, and value-based selling
  • Experience with project management, tender work and structured account management
  • A documented track record of building strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Fluency in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian, as well as English, orally and in writing
  • Excellent IT and presentation skills, including strong knowledge of MS Office
  • A valid driver’s license

In addition to your technical skills, we highly value your personality. We are looking for someone independent and goal-oriented, proactive and a self-starter, with an outgoing personality who enjoys engaging with people at all levels of an organization. You are structured and organized, with a strong drive and excellent communication skills, and you know how to balance time in the field with internal, office-based responsibilities.

We think you have an ambition for growth and an eagerness for keeping up to date with the latest in sales and healthcare technology.

At Getinge we see ourselves as proactive and self-driven in learning and contributing to the continued development of our products and our organization's capabilities.  We are Team Players, Forward Thinkers and Game Changers.

We think you will thrive in a high-expectation environment and have an interest in our products.
