About this opportunity

At Getinge, we develop life-supporting medical technology used every day by healthcare professionals around the world. We are now expanding our Development Tools team and are looking for a Configuration Specialist who wants to work hands-on with our tooling and configuration setup.

In this role, you will work close to the technology, shaping and improving how we handle configurations in our requirements and test management environment. You will actively work with tools such as IBM Jazz and ClearQuest, focusing on versioning, change control, traceability, and compliance – while also making our tools easy and efficient to use in daily work.

What you will do

This is a hands-on role where you will work operationally with configuration management in our systems and tools.

Examples of your daily work include:

• Work directly in our tools (e.g. IBM Jazz, ClearQuest) to manage and structure configurations
• Implement and maintain versioning, traceability, and change control in our systems
• Handle configuration changes – from analysis and setup to verification and follow-up
• Automate and streamline workflows using scripts and integrations
• Troubleshoot and improve the technical setup to ensure stability and usability
• Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, IT Department and other stakeholders to support efficient ways of working

You will bring

We are looking for someone who enjoys working close to the technology and wants to deepen their expertise in configuration management and tooling.

You likely have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Several years of experience working hands-on with configuration management tools (e.g. IBM Jazz, Jira or similar)
• Experience with scripting or technical integrations (e.g. Linux, REST API, VBScript, Perl, JavaScript)
• Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus)

Valued qualifications:

• Experience from regulated environments (e.g. medical devices)
• Experience with ClearQuest, ClearCase, GitLab

This position is based in Solna, Stockholm, with a hybrid setup (1–2 days/week from home). No travel is expected.
