About this opportunity  

In this role you will be part of Getinge’s project delivery organization, working closely with Sales, Service, factories and customers to deliver complex MedTech solutions. The position focuses on managing customer projects from the moment they are handed over from Sales until final handover to the customer and Service.

You will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, contributing both project management expertise and technical understanding to ensure successful deliveries. The team collaborates closely, supports each other in solving challenges, and plays a key role in Getinge’s total solution offerings.

What you will do

In the role as Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for customer projects, ensuring delivery according to agreed scope, time, budget and quality.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing projects from sales handover through delivery and handover to the customer and Service organization
• Ensuring project execution according to budget, quality and timelines, and making decisions within Getinge’s framework
• Collaborating closely with Sales and Service, including participation in tenders and major sales projects by contributing technical and project expertise
• Proactively handling challenges such as late deliveries, installation issues and deviations together with factories and other stakeholders
• Following up, compiling and analyzing project outcomes together with relevant internal and external stakeholders

This position is preferably based in the Stockholm area. Work location and setup may be discussed in accordance with Getinge policies.

The role requires openness to travel, as customer visits, factory interaction and on-site support may be part of the assignment. The exact extent of travel may vary depending on project needs.

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:

• A college or university degree in economics, technology or a related field
• 5 years of documented previous experience working as a Project Manager
• Experience of driving projects with responsibility for time, cost and quality
• Excellent skills in the MS Office package
• Fluency in English and the local language where the position is based
