At Getinge, we believe we make the best products in the world, and so do our users. You will work closely with a passionate customer base and lead a dedicated sales team focused on creating value for healthcare providers across Sweden. The customer is always at the center, and collaboration is key to our success.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop the sales organization for Infection Control in Sweden while driving business growth, achieving commercial targets, and supporting your team’s development.

What you will do

As Sales Manager Infection Control, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on commercial responsibility. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and your team to grow the business and strengthen Getinge’s market position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieve sales, margin, and order intake targets.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the Infection Control sales team.
  • Ensure team competence development and effective performance management.
  • Drive forecasting activities in collaboration with the General Manager and Nordic Business Controller.
  • Develop and execute marketing and business development activities within agreed objectives and budgets.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with internal policies and routines, collaborating closely with the Service organization to grow the business, staying updated on relevant Swedish regulations, and maintaining responsibility for health, safety, and quality within the department.

This position is based in Sweden and includes travel within the country. A flexible or hybrid setup may be possible depending on business needs.

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:

  • University degree within a relevant field.
  • Experience leading a sales team, preferably within the MedTech sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.

In addition to your technical skills, we highly value your leadership capabilities and personal qualities. We believe you are a collaborative and motivating leader who enjoys supporting your team in achieving challenging goals. You are comfortable working with budgets and forecasts, can prioritize effectively, and consistently deliver strong results under deadlines.

We think you have an ambition for growth and an eagerness to stay up to date with developments within the MedTech and Infection Control field. At Getinge, we see ourselves as proactive and self-driven in learning and contributing to the continued development of our products and organizational capabilities. We are Team Players, Forward Thinkers, and Game Changers.
