About this opportunity  

At Getinge, we develop life-supporting medical technology used every day by healthcare professionals around the world. We are expanding our Development Tools team and are looking for a Configuration Manager to own and improve how we structure, control, and govern configurations in our requirements and test management setup—working hands-on with tools like IBM Jazz and ClearQuest to drive versioning, change control, traceability, and compliance, while making the everyday tool experience efficient and easy to work in.

 

What you will do

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity, consistency, and controlled evolution of system and software configurations across all environments.

 

Examples of what you will do in your daily work:

 

  • Serve as the owner of configuration management processes, ensuring systems, applications, and infrastructure remain consistent, secure, and compliant
  • Manage and control configuration changes, including review, approval, tracking, and rollback procedures
  • Automate configuration management tasks using approved tools and scripts to improve reliability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders such as teams within the R&D organization, regulatory department, operations, etc.

 

This position is based in Solna, Stockholm and offers a hybrid setup with the possibility to work from home 1-2 days a week. Travelling is not expected in this position.

 

 

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications.

 

  • Bachelor/Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent.  
  • Several years' experience of configuration management within different tools, such as IBM Jazz, Jira
  • Experience in working with, basic Linux, REST API, VB-script, Pearl, Java Script
  • Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus)

 

Valued qualifications but not required:

 

  • Experience from regulated environments (e.g. medical devices)
  • Experience with ClearQuest, ClearCase, Gitlab
