Are you a recent graduate eager to make a real-world impact through technology? At Getinge, we invite you to launch your career with a one-year internship as a Junior Systems Architect, where your passion for innovation can help shape the future of healthcare. What you will do

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct pre-studies for new product initiatives.

Analyze and map information to standardized concepts, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.

Contribute to the specification and development of proof-of-concept designs.

Support development teams in implementing and effectively utilizing interoperability standards.
This position is based in our newly renovated facilities in Solna and offer a hybrid setup with 3 days at the office and 2 days from home on average.
You will bring
To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, or a related field

Demonstrated interest in medical interoperability (e.g., through coursework, student projects, or similar experiences)

Familiarity with relevant standards such as FHIR, HL7 v2, or SDC
-
Demonstrated interest in software product development (e.g., through coursework, student projects, or similar experiences)
-
Strong motivation and willingness to learn
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Fluency in English
Experience in the following areas will be considered an asset:

Completion of thesis projects in medical technology, life sciences, or related domains
-
Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence, including machine learning or data analysis applications

Participation in hackathons, innovation challenges, or industry competitions
-
Prior internships or work experience in medical technology, healthcare IT, or software development teams
-
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles as applied to healthcare environments
-
Experience with programming languages commonly used in medical informatics (such as Python or Java)
-
Involvement in open-source or collaborative software projects
