Junior Software System Architect

What you will do 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct pre-studies for new product initiatives. 

• Analyze and map information to standardized concepts, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards. 

• Contribute to the specification and development of proof-of-concept designs. 

• Support development teams in implementing and effectively utilizing interoperability standards. 

This position is based in our newly renovated facilities in Solna and offer a hybrid setup with 3 days at the office and 2 days from home on average.

You will bring 

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, or a related field 

• Demonstrated interest in medical interoperability (e.g., through coursework, student projects, or similar experiences) 

• Familiarity with relevant standards such as FHIR, HL7 v2, or SDC 

• Demonstrated interest in software product development (e.g., through coursework, student projects, or similar experiences) 

• Strong motivation and willingness to learn 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Fluency in English  

Experience in the following areas will be considered an asset: 

• Completion of thesis projects in medical technology, life sciences, or related domains 

• Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence, including machine learning or data analysis applications 

• Participation in hackathons, innovation challenges, or industry competitions 

• Prior internships or work experience in medical technology, healthcare IT, or software development teams 

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles as applied to healthcare environments 

• Experience with programming languages commonly used in medical informatics (such as Python or Java) 

• Involvement in open-source or collaborative software projects
