Are you looking for an inspiring career? You just found it.

Join Getinge Group as a Senior Project Manager in our Acute Care Therapies (ACT) unit! Take on a key leadership role within R&D and help shape the future of life-saving medical devices. In this role you will step into one of our highest‑priority global projects—already in full execution mode—and help drive it forward at a critical and fast‑moving stage. You’ll collaborate closely with a committed, cross‑functional team to tackle complex execution work, remove roadblocks, and propel the program toward successful industrialization and product launch. If you thrive in a high‑energy environment where teamwork, drive, and impact go hand in hand, this is a rare opportunity to make an immediate impact in a key product area where every decision counts.

What you will do

  • Lead complex, cross-disciplinary product development projects spanning software, electronics, mechanics, and industrialization—ensuring strong collaboration and timely execution.
  • Translate business objectives and regulatory requirements into clear project goals and actionable plans.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all teams work toward shared milestones and deliverables.
  • Partner closely with steering groups and leadership across Getinge Critical Care and Getinge Cardiac Assist to secure alignment, transparency, and informed decision-making throughout all project phases.
  • Proactively manage project performance by tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing robust mitigation strategies.
  • Apply proven methodologies, including best-practice project management, Lean principles, and agile ways of working.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within R&D by refining methods, tools, and processes.

This position is based in Solna, and international travels may occur. You will report to the Program Director, IABP.

  • Deep technical understanding of complex systems spanning mechanics, electronics, software, and industrialization.
  • Proven experience leading multiple projects from concept through to commercialization.
  • Solid knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements and quality standards is highly meritorious.
  • Fluency in English; Swedish proficiency is a plus.
