Join Getinge and strengthen our product area Critical Care in Solna as a Software Developer. We are now strengthening our GUI development team to speed up software development. Together with the team you will be responsible for, and own the whole product development cycle. The work consists of new development, from concepts and requirements to final product.  

  

About this opportunity 

As a Software Developer at Getinge, you will develop the software interface the healthcare professionals use to control the device and monitor the patient. Together with colleagues you will tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges and collaborate with highly skilled people to find innovative solutions. Through this you will contribute to the development of world-leading products in intensive care and anesthesia.  

  

What you will do 

Your primary responsibility as a Software Developer is the development and maintenance of graphical user interface libraries and development tools aimed at users within Getinge. You will work mainly with C++ and QT/QML. At Getinge we follow different medical devices and health software/IT systems safety standards in our development process. Git is used as a version control tool and Jenkins and GitLab for continuous integration.  

  

You will bring 

To be successful in this role we believe that you have the following qualities:  

  

  • Bachelor/Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent.  

  • Several years' experience of development in C++. 

  • Familiar with Linux as development environment as well as embedded operating system. 

  • Enjoys working with front-end development and graphical components.  

  • Experience with QT as a framework is desirable.   

  • Familiarity with product development in the medical technology field is desirable.  

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
