A ventilator is a medical device that assists patients in breathing by delivering oxygen and removing carbon dioxide, especially when they cannot breathe adequately on their own. Getinge in Solna has been engaged in development and manufacturing of medical ventilators for decades. The operations in Solna cover the complete product life cycle including marketing, regulatory fulfillment, research, development, specification, test, quality control, supplier management, assembly of final machines in several variants and customer service.

Our Solna site is in an exciting and intensive phase of change, and we are now looking for you who would like to spend your summer with our Teams in R&D and Operations.

The assignment

Are you eager to test your wings sharply through summer internship? You just found it. Within our operations we would like to advise several positions for summer internships June to August 2026:

• Component inspection and test.
• Production data analysis.
• Product and process analysis.
• Documentation and presentation.

Your qualifications:

• Current enrollment in academic studies in engineering orientations such as computer science, electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, medical technology, industrial economics.
• Interest in hands-on work and instrumentations in a lab.
• Interest in data, AI and statistics.
• Interest in industrial economics and process management.
• Social and willing in corporations with colleagues.
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in English.
