In this role, you will join Getinge’s Sourcing Project Management team. Sourcing Project Managers focus on Product Development Projects (PDP), this position plays a key part in driving other types of sourcing-related projects and initiatives such as supplier transfer projects, task force activities, CAPA leadership, and implementation of new regulatory requirements.
You will act as the coordinating force for how we plan, execute, and improve sourcing-related project delivery, working closely with R&D, Supplier Quality Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, and several other functions.
What you will do
In this role, you will lead sourcing-related projects and help develop our ways of working. Your main responsibilities include:
- Plan, lead, and follow up on sourcing projects from initiation to completion according to established methodologies.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives such as supplier changes, production/test relocations, supply-critical task forces, and CAPA projects.
- Manage projects related to regulatory changes (e.g., MDR/IVDR, ISO updates) and ensure compliance deliverables.
- Coordinate resource needs and project interfaces between Sourcing and R&D, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and effective governance.
- Facilitate risk assessments, decision forums, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration to secure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
- As a team leader coordinate the resource allocation in the team and make sure the PDP projects are support t in a good way.
- Develop the way of working within the team.
This position is based in Solna and is eligible for a hybrid setup. Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs.
You will bring
To be successful in this position, we believe you have:
- Several years of experience in project management within sourcing, procurement, supply chain, industry, med tech, or another regulated environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders especially R&D.
- Strong understanding of supplier-related processes such as transfer, change control, risk management, and quality requirements.
- Experience with CAPA, supplier-related nonconformances, and/or regulatory-driven change projects is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when driving decisions in complex environments.
