About The Position
As a Managing Director for Getinge Disinfection, you will have full operational responsibility for the site, working within a matrix organization in the Getinge Surgical Workflows business area. You will lead a management team consisting of both direct reports and dotted-line reports.
We are looking for a leader with an agile mindset, able to adapt to different situations and contexts. You will continue to build strong cross-functional teams and foster an inspiring and collaborative working environment at the site.
Your leadership style is characterized by active listening, inclusiveness, and proactive communication, enabling you to provide clear direction and alignment. You naturally motivate and empower others to consistently achieve operational goals.
In this role, you report to Vice President Manufacturing Surgical Workflows. The Växjö site has approximately 200 employees.
Day To Day Responsibilities Include:

Overall responsibility for ensuring a safe working environment and for fostering a strong and sustainable safety culture

Overall responsibility for leading, developing, and monitoring the company´s operational performance in line with agreed strategies and objectives, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety and quality

Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal as well as external requirements

Full P&L and balance sheet responsibility, including ownership of investment decisions and long-term maintenance planning.

Overall responsibility for talent management, leadership development, and succession planning

Overall responsibility for the continues improvement system to ensure long-term competitiveness

As the company’s overall legal representative, responsibility for the management system covering quality and sustainability, including authority to sign legal documents

Lead the implementation of new project execution and manufacturing systems to achieve targeted performance and results

Establish efficient internal and external communication flows and maintain constructive relationships with local trade unions

Responsible for KPI reporting and financial follow-up in collaboration with Business Area Management and Group Functions, as required

Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews, related to quality and financial performance, and participate in extended Business Area management meetings

Drive cross-site collaboration with the other Surgical Workflows sites globally

Your experience includes

A relevant higher education qualification at Master’s level
-
Several years of experience leading larger production and/or engineering organizations
-
A documented track record as a strong leader and communicator, with a modern and inclusive leadership approach
-
Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
-
Experience working in an international environment
-
Proven experience from implementing successful business systems/processes like LEAN, SIX Sigma, 5S, GMP and GAMP and applicable ISO standards
-
Experience in the MedTech industry is considered a strong merit
