About this opportunity
Join Getinge as our Service Director in Poland and take full responsibility for our service operations across the country. In this role, you will be supervising and developing our service operations, ensuring high quality of service and compliance with industry regulations. Leading teams of Service, Service BackOffice and Service Sales. Process optimization, department budgeting, and implementation of key performance indicators. Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment reliability and maintain high customer satisfaction.

What you will do
As the Service Director you will lead all aspects of service for the Getinge portfolio in Poland, guiding teams and processes to deliver excellent results.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and developing all reporting teams to deliver reliable, high-quality service.

Managing service operations in Poland, ensuring equipment reliability, efficiency, and compliance with medical regulations.

Overseeing budgets, setting goals, tracking KPIs, and improving service processes.

Collaborating with other departments such as Sales, Logistics, Finance, Customer Service, QRC and other support functions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Visiting our end-users to understand their needs, build relationships, and ensure a positive experience with Getinge.

Cooperating with distributors in markets outside Poland.

• Understanding service contract structures, cost-to-serve, service profitability, and productivity.
• Ability to work with subscription, outcome-based, or other modern service models and support hospital needs for predictable costs and clear ROI.
Change Leadership & Innovation
• Proven ability to lead teams through transformation, uncertainty, and new digital ways of working.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and strategic thinking.
Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and resilience to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in Polish and English, enabling clear and trusted interactions with customers and internal teams.

Experience in a hospital setting or working closely with healthcare professionals will be highly beneficial, helping you understand end-user workflows and the value our services bring to their daily work.
