Position Overview:

The candidate will be working with the Biomedical Engineering team on the following duties:

Job Duties:

• Provide direct technical contribution and support towards the development and validation of new Cardiac Assist products and concepts as they relate to the discipline of Bio-medical Engineering.
• Collaboration with Biomedical and Electrical Engineers in test fixture setup. 
• Gain lab experience conducting experiments, collecting data.

Learning Outcomes:

The candidate will gain experience with Matlab/Simulink with Speedgoat real-time used in Hardware-in-Loop automated testing, They will also learn software Design Lifecycyle in Medical regulated industry as well as Agile methods for rapid development.

Background Experience:

• Currently a junior or senior student attending a 4-year undergraduate program, or working towards a Master's degree in a related life science field. 
• Minimum GPA of 3.0. 
• Excellent written, communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to details. 
• Strong interpersonal and team skills. 
• Some programming experience preferred
• Advanced proficiency:  MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
