Job Overview

This 8-week internship will support the Cardiovascular Surgery PMO in strengthening product management governance and improving cross-functional execution across the product lifecycle. The intern will evaluate how Product Management currently interacts with the PMO and R&D, from early concept through end-of-life.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

The primary objective is to propose a streamlined governance framework that:

• Eliminates duplicate reporting
• Clarifies accountability and ownership
• Improves efficiency across departments
• Aligns with CVS’s current organizational maturity
• Establishes measurable success metrics

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Undergraduates or Grad students majoring in the field of Project Management, Business or related fields are encouraged to apply
• Ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong analytical and project planning skills
• Ability to operate in a matrixed organization
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required to coordinate and interface with the many disciplines involved and to maintain a focus on goals and objectives
• Passion for excellence achieved through teamwork
• Strong computer skills in the areas of Microsoft office, Windows and presentation graphics
• Effective communicator to team members and management
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized

Salary range: $23.00 p/hr., depending upon experience and location- hourlyrole with multiple locations
