Job Overview
This 8-week internship will support the Cardiovascular Surgery PMO in strengthening product management governance and improving cross-functional execution across the product lifecycle. The intern will evaluate how Product Management currently interacts with the PMO and R&D, from early concept through end-of-life.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
The primary objective is to propose a streamlined governance framework that:
- Eliminates duplicate reporting
- Clarifies accountability and ownership
- Improves efficiency across departments
- Aligns with CVS’s current organizational maturity
- Establishes measurable success metrics
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Undergraduates or Grad students majoring in the field of Project Management, Business or related fields are encouraged to apply
- Ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and project planning skills
- Ability to operate in a matrixed organization
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required to coordinate and interface with the many disciplines involved and to maintain a focus on goals and objectives
- Passion for excellence achieved through teamwork
- Strong computer skills in the areas of Microsoft office, Windows and presentation graphics
- Effective communicator to team members and management
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
Salary range: $23.00 p/hr., depending upon experience and location- hourlyrole with multiple locations
