Job Overview

Writes and executes fairly complex unit tests.  Participates in design and code reviews.  Works under general direction, may develop approaches, methods and procedures on new assignments.  Makes testing decisions within the guidelines of standards and project requirements.  All work is reviewed by peers and more senior level engineers.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

A list of the main responsibilities and percentage of time spent in each responsibility or group of responsibilities:

• Unit Testing of advanced algorithms for next generation Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (70%)
• Interpretation of System Requirements and Executing System Test plans (20%)
• Update and provide status on Agile Jira pulse board, participate in team meetings ( 10%)

Minimum Requirements

• Currently a junior or senior student attending a 4-year undergraduate program, or working towards a Master's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Familiarity with C++ or other Object-Oriented programming language.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in Engineering lab environment, and lab report writing.
• Excellent written, communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to details.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Advanced proficiency:  MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
