Job Function Summary:

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting and driving the Pricing Governance process for the North America region. The position will partner closely with the Business Controller & Pricing Analytics to prepare all upcoming contract renewals and manage the pricing and commitment impact. The position reviews all pricing materials related to GPO, IDN and local agreements, quantifying contract performance, pricing/margin analysis, and developing a comprehensive pricing database to standardize and fulfill global requirements. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategies to drive revenue growth while maintaining competitiveness. This position requires a combination of analytical expertise, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful pricing strategies that align with business objectives and industry standards. The position requires extensive knowledge and experience in strategic pricing and margin analysis, and proven ability in developing effective relationships with internal and external customers, to influence the direction of key stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties 

  • Create and maintain forecasts to track all contracts, pricing, group affiliation and performance.
  • Manage monthly pricing dashboards by gaining a deep understanding of the price impacts within all of the North America agreements.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of CPI language letters to our customers regarding contractual pricing changes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Manage field inquiries regarding Pricing Governance topics ranging from margin inquires to collaborating on presentation slides.
  • Respond in a timely, accurate manner to incoming tickets through our Freshdesk system, must be able to pinpoint issues and provide clear solutions on tier adjustments.
  • Work collaboratively with the Pricing & Analytics and Membership teams on price discrepancies, with great attention to accuracy.
  • Partner with Sales, Commercial Support, Service, Pricing & Analytics, and Corporate Account Management teams to ensure the successful implementation on all price changes.
  • Track the approval process and unsure no oversight for all current contracts.
  • Support the communication on Pricing Governance topics, agenda, minutes, approval follow up on a daily basis.
  • Become the main point of contact regarding the pricing inbox and respond urgently to all requests.

 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to prepare and present ad hoc reports to Corporate and Senior Management.
  • Proven skills and experience in data analysis management and reporting. Preferably in the Medical Device, healthcare provider, healthcare consulting or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL).
  • Knowledge of pricing methodologies, market research techniques, and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex pricing strategies and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Intermediate skills in Word, Access and Outlook.

 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in pricing analysis, preferably within the medical devices or healthcare industry.
  • Experience working with a Field Sales team and senior management.
  • ERP knowledge required.

 

The base salary for this position is a minimum of $98,000 and a maximum of $120,000, plus 10% Annual Bonus
