Job Overview

The Senior Product Manager (SPM), Cardiovascular is responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle ownership for a cardiovascular product portfolio, from ideation through development, launch, commercialization, and lifecycle management. The role drives portfolio strategy, profitability, and cross-functional execution in a highly regulated medical device environment.

 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Define and execute product and portfolio strategy, including multi-generational roadmaps and lifecycle plans.
  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation through post-launch optimization and profitability.
  • Integrate Voice of Customer insights, clinical workflows, and competitive intelligence into product requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, Sales, Marketing, Quality, and Operations.
  • Lead global product launches and ensure commercial readiness.
  • Develop business cases and financial justifications; track post-launch performance.
  • Support long-term Cardiovascular division strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations. Adopt the Beyond Compliance Quality Culture and attend all required Quality & Compliance training.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences product management.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Extensive experience in product management within a regulated medical device environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without authority.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

 

Targeted salary range: $170,000- $190,000, depending upon experience and location + 25% bonus target
