We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Infection Control team, covering NSW South.
This is a critical territory within our business, supporting products and solutions that play an important role in keeping hospitals operating safely and effectively. We’re looking for someone who understands the hospital environment, can get up to speed quickly and has the commercial capability to take ownership of an established territory and drive its next phase of growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
-
Endoscopy Reprocessing: lead our growth in this high-potential segment.
-
CSSD Consumables: drive fast-paced sales cycles and expand recurring business.
-
CSSD Capital Equipment: leverage our strong brand to deliver long-term solutions.
This is an autonomous Account Manager role, but you won’t work in isolation. You’ll partner closely with specialists across Capital, Consumables and Endoscopy, drawing on the broader team to solve customer challenges and deliver the best possible outcomes.
You’ll need to be comfortable balancing immediate customer priorities with longer-term commercial objectives, reprioritising quickly when situations change and remaining present and accountable when customers need support.
Regular travel across regional NSW and occasional interstate travel will be required.
About the role
As Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of your territory and be expected to think and operate commercially, building a clear plan for where the business is today, where the opportunities are and how you will deliver sustainable growth.
You will:
-
Develop and execute the Infection Control strategic sales plan across NSW South.
-
Manage and grow existing accounts while developing new business across both capital equipment and consumables.
-
Build strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders across CSSD, Operating Theatres, Procurement and hospital leadership.
-
Drive complex, long-cycle capital equipment opportunities while continuing to grow recurring consumables revenue.
-
Apply strong commercial and financial acumen to understand your territory, pipeline and performance and make informed decisions about where to focus your time.
-
Conduct detailed market and competitor analysis and translate those insights into commercial opportunities.
-
Respond effectively to changing customer priorities, problem-solving in the moment and working across functions to resolve issues.
-
Maintain strong product and market knowledge and become a trusted partner to customers.
About you
You’re an experienced healthcare sales professional who understands that great account management is about much more than hitting a number.
You take ownership of your territory, know how to build a commercial plan and can articulate where your business is going and how you're going to get there.
You’re equally comfortable working autonomously and bringing the right people together when a customer needs support. When priorities change, you can assess what matters most, reprioritise and act.
Most importantly, you understand the environment our customers operate in. You’re passionate about your products, take pride in your work and recognise that behind every customer interaction is ultimately a patient outcome.
You’ll bring:
-
Proven hospital sales experience, ideally within CSSD, Operating Theatres, Endoscopy or another acute-care environment.
-
Experience selling capital equipment, with exposure to consumables or recurring revenue products highly regarded.
-
CSSD experience or a strong understanding of the CSSD environment is highly desirable.
-
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing a territory, pipeline, forecasts and commercial opportunities.
-
The ability to prioritise and reprioritise effectively, particularly when managing urgent or competing customer requirements.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and evidence of remaining calm and commercially focused in challenging situations.
-
A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
-
Strong sales drive, resilience and personal accountability.
-
Genuine curiosity and a passion for developing deep product and market knowledge.
-
A customer-first mindset and commitment to delivering solutions that ultimately contribute to better patient care.
