Job Overview
This is a field-based role and you will need to be a self-starter with experience of managing your own workload. Although you will be mostly working independently, you will be supported by regular contact with the Service Office, Service Managers and our Technical Services Department which has direct access to Getinge Global Technical Support Center and a wealth of technical know-how and expertise.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Technical Service & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine testing, calibration, mechanical servicing, and electrical troubleshooting for Getinge equipment.
- Apply initiative and structured, practical reasoning to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor and maintain optimal spare parts stock to ensure rapid response to emergency call-outs.
Customer Relations & Business Support
- Deliver exceptional client experiences with professional interpersonal skills and a courteous demeanor.
- Promote service contract sales and identify commercial opportunities for Service/Sales Managers.
- Manage dynamic schedules to guarantee swift, effective responses to customer inquiries.
Documentation & Reporting
- Generate high-quality technical service records and validation reports within designated timeframes.
- Prepare accurate internal administrative reports while adhering to non-conformance and return procedures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Safety
- Maintain consistent alignment with internal Service, Technical, and Management teams.
- Strictly adhere to corporate Quality Systems and on-site Health & Safety regulations.
- Provide proactive technical and operational assistance to fellow team members when required.
Perform all other duties assigned by the Manager and/or the Company.
